Water heater in basement replacement. 👍 First turn water to water heater off and gas, drain old water heater with water hose are if there is a drain close by in the basement drain it there. As water heater is draining start remove and disconnecting water lines and gas lines also remove the flue pipe on top and lets also start getting the new water heater ready by connecting the gas drip leg , gas valve and the water dielectric unions install and ready to go. once water heater has finish draining remove and haul away the old water heater now that the old water heater is out of the way lets roll in the new water heater, now let's start by connecting the water to the new water heater at top and once that's done turn on the water and let it fill up and you start connecting the gas line and flue pipe. Now the every thing is connected and ready to go. one thing left to do lite the water heater. Water heater in basement install 8of 9
